TSL has created facilities layouts and designs for leading distribution, production, food service, packing houses, export businesses and technical facilities. A list of countries in which we have worked in this capacity includes Barbados, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, St. Kitts & Nevis, Dominica, Guyana, Suriname, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire (Africa). These have ranged from horticultural product exporting operations and others in modest SME distribution and exporting companies, to plants for major exporters. These facilities were designed to be fully GMP, GAP, HACCP and GFSI- certifiable, where relevant, offering optimal efficiency and flexibility which allows for multiple products to be handled concurrently. In addition, the TSL team has guided the implementation of technical facilities in Jamaica, St. Lucia, St. Kitts & Nevis, Dominica and Guyana
The designs optimize staff and equipment utilization, resulting in lower operating overheads. They facilitate full automation or, alternatively, operation in a semi-automated manner, and feature optimization of the use of space, personnel and product-flows, ease of receivals, and deliveries, and efficient raw material and finished product handling. Designs have employed environmentally friendly features to minimize any negative environmental impact. Layouts and designs meet all international, regulatory and other certification requirements. TSL also evaluates the designs and layouts of existing facilities and provide recommendations and guidance for meeting international standards.
