TSL Laboratory Services Limited

TSL Laboratory Services Limited (TSL LS) was born out of TSL in 2019, and is now one of its subsidiaries.

TSL LS is a full-service analytical laboratory that was the first ISO 9001 certified (now ISO 17025 accredited) laboratory in the Caribbean.  It is the largest food testing laboratory in the Caribbean in terms of volume, and does significant work in the areas of occupational health and safety and environmental testing.   TSL is currently ISO 17025 accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) to offer an extensive range of microbiological, and chemical analyses. The laboratory serves the agriculture, agro-processing, manufacturing, distribution, export, food service, tourism and hospitality sectors in countries across the region with the widest range of accredited analyses offered in the Caribbean. 

We conduct all the analyses required for sauces, beverages, vegetables, water (bottled, potable, waste and recreational), prepared foods, food service meals, smoked foods, meats, and dairy products, among others. We also do environmental swabs and air quality assessments to verify the efficacy of cleaning, sanitation and decontamination measures. These include the effectiveness of these measures against organisms such as Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus aureus and others. Our newly introduced service also assesses the effectiveness of these measures against SARS-CoV-2, the Novel Coronavirus.
